BRIAN WESTBROOK PUT THE “THANKS” IN THANKGIVING FOR DISADVANTAGED PHILADELPHIA FAMILIES

Thanks to the generosity of Brian Westbrook, 50 of Philadelphia’s neediest families enjoyed a complete Thanksgiving meal in the privacy of their homes this holiday season. Westbrook was on-hand to personally distribute the packages on Monday, November 23rd.

Brian contacted Rebuilding Together Philadelphia asking them to identify 50 needy families to be benefactors. Helping others is nothing new for Westbrook. For years Westbrook has distributed meals to the less fortunate through his charitable arm, Brian’s Blessings, and has been truly amazed by the support of the community. In this philanthropic effort Westbrook sought to touch the lives of Philadelphia residents who often struggle day-to-day to keep food on the table and come under great stress during the holiday season. With rising energy costs and a slowing economy, it means that more people than ever will be depending on local food banks this year. Westbrook wanted to make sure no family has to make the difficult decision between heating their home and putting a hot meal on the table this holiday season or throughout the winter.
