All Pro Running Back Brian Westbrook Reaches Back To Hometown

Player’s charitable arm, Brian’s Blessings, set to distribute over 1000 warmth items to those in need

LANDOVER, MD — December 13, 2010 All Pro Running Back Brian Westbrook has partnered with the Prince Georges County School System to provide warmth items for the winter. Westbrook’s parents will be on hand tomorrow to distribute gloves, hats, ear muffs and other winter apparel to children and families in need.

Helping others is nothing new for Westbrook who seeks to touch the lives of at-risk or in-need children through his philanthropic arm, Brian’s Blessings. For years he has provided Thanksgiving dinners, holiday toys, backpacks and school supplies. “Being in a position than enables me to give back is such a blessing to me,” says Westbrook, “My goal is to provide hope and encouragement. I want these kids to know they can be anything they want in life.”
